READY TO SIGN YOUR AUTHORIZATION CARD?

The most important step in organizing our union is securing an election. In order to reach that point, we must gather signed authorization cards from fellow supportive staff. An authorization card is a form you complete signifying you want a staff union at Pitt. It is confidential between you, the USW and the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board (PLRB), the governing body that oversees public-sector union elections.

You can sign your card two ways:

1. You can request to meet with a member of our committee to get your card by clicking here
2. You can download and print a card, fill out and physically sign it, then mail it to:
